Betsy Prince is proud to carry Theona's Girls products.  Their aprons, coasters, potholders, towels, jewelry and many other accessories make perfect gifts!

From our friend who brings these beautiful products to us from Haiti:

Here is Madame Theona.  She is a seamstress from Port au Prince whose shop was destroyed in the earthquake of 2010.

She left PAP and went back home to the Northern region of Haiti, near Cap Haitian.  It is a rural and the very poorest area of an already poor country.

There she set up a little school to teach girls a trade, sewing.  They sewed and learned but never made any money doing it.

Then we found each other and today it is a happy workshop, employing 15 people who are earning a regular income by making products for me to bring to the US to sell.

We supply good quality fabrics and the staff there make items to our specifications but sometimes adding their own twist like a little trim or a bow or a curved pocket.

Theona and I have been working together for 3 years and now we have become friends.
